Technical Lead in Cluj

As a Technical Lead member of Watchup, you will join a growing team of talented software engineers who are passionate about working with the latest technologies to build world class products. We are proud of our modern technology stack and methodology which includes RESTful APIs, Node.js, MongoDB, Continuous integration (CI), Gitflow, 24/7 cloud infrastructure, test-driven development + automation.
Our ideal candidates are fearless developers who have worked with various technologies in the past and are interested in expanding their knowledge. The Technical Lead will both coordinate the team and be a proactive, hands-on team member.

– Proficiency with either Node.js, browser MVC frameworks, or other modern Javascript work.
– Knowledgeable in at least one other object-oriented programming language, Python is a plus.
– Knowledgeable about infrastructure and devops
– Solid understanding of asynchronous and non-blocking operations.
– Implicit understanding of datatypes and design patterns.
– Knowledgeable about REST communications and HTTP transports
– Experience with NoSQL and document-based persistence is a plus.
– Experience with front-end, HTML5 and CSS is a plus.
